Lunch made easy...
These are simple meals that can be made in a little time and are fun to make time and time again.
Lewis's Hot Chicken Sandwich
6 thin sliced chicken breast (DE-BONED)
2 French bread - sliced in Half and then again to make 6 sandwiches.
1 onion sliced
1 tomato sliced
1 head of lettuce (I prefer romaine) cleaned and ready to put on sandwiches.
1 thin sliced bell pepper (any color)
12 Slices of PROVALONE CHEESE!!!
Mayo & Mustard
Now in a skillet Cook the chicken breast on medium heat in about 2 tbls olive oil, add some garlic, salt, pepper, and some... HAHAHA you thought I was going to give you my secret spice... Cook until done (usually about 10-12 minutes) Please flip the chicken to cook both sides - if its not white in the middle its not done!!!
Ok so now lay out the French bread slices middle sides up so we can layer...
First put your sauces Mayo & Mustard on BOTH TOP & BOTTOM, then on the bottom side add your chicken (you may need 2 slices of chicken per sandwich depending on the loaf), 2 slices of provolone cheese, 3-4 onion slices, 2 tomato slices, 4 bell peppers slices, and your lettuce usually 2 leafs.. Place the top piece of French bread on Top and SERVE with Chips!!
