Grandma's Apple Pie Pan... With my TWIST!!

4-5 TBLS cold water

THE PIE Stuffing... :)
Mix together in a bowl
5-7 Sliced Apples (I prefer golden delicious)

1 TSP GROUND CINNAMON

Now Roll out the pie crust and place in the bottom of the pan, stab the bottom with a fork till you have lots of little holes - this will help the middle to cook... Fill the crust with THE PIE STUFFING... Roll out the 2nd part of the pie crust and place on top, pinch the sides around the edge with a fork... (see picture)... now Slice the extra crust off the side of the pan... Slice 4 slits on top of the crust to let the extra steam out of the pan....
Now place in PRE-HEATED OVEN @ 375 Degrees for 45 minutes or until top of pie is Light Golden Brown... Once you pull out melt about 1-3 TBLS Butter brush it on top of the CRUST and then sprinkle Cinnamon & Sugar on top... Serve!!!
Goes well with Vanilla Ice Cream!!!

Spice Bread / Cake / Muffins
(picture coming soon)
Now I'm going to cheat a little with this one as its one of my family's favorite, as soon as it comes out of the oven its usually gone with-in 20 min...
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
Now for the following spices add 1 Tsp of each.
Cinnamon, allspice, ground cloves, nutmeg. (*if you don’t have all these you can use just Pumpkin Spice)
1 1/3 cup buttermilk (if you don’t have buttermilk add 1 TBLS of Lemon Juice to the milk per 1 cup)
1/2 cup Shortening
3 eggs
***OPTIONAL***
Add 1 cup of your favorite Chopped Nuts, Dried Cranberries, or Raisins
HEAT OVEN TO 350*
Grease and flour all your pans, Add all ingredients into your large mixing bowl & start mixing until smooth
(with an electric mixer it takes 3-5 minutes start out slow then speed it up)
Pour into greased & floured pans now place in Oven from anywhere to 35-45 min depending on the pans you use...
Muffins take allot less time (duh their smaller pans) and bigger ones take longer...
I just say use the toothpick method, stick it in the middle if it comes out clean its finished...
Once you pull this out, I use melted butter and spread on top and then sprinkle powdered sugar on top!!
